Head Master of United Tiger Martial Arts in Sanford, FL, with over 40 years of Taekwondo experience and international Kukkiwon certification.
Master Chon was born in Seoul, South Korea, and began his Taekwondo journey at the age of four. With over 40 years of training, Taekwondo has been a lifelong pursuit. From elementary school through college, he majored in Taekwondo, further honing his skills and knowledge. He later served as an officer in the Korean Army, where he taught Taekwondo to fellow soldiers, including members of the special forces. After completing his service, he continued his education at the University of Central Florida, earning a Master's Degree in Exceptional Education. A lifelong martial artist, Master Chon dedicated 4–6 hours a day to training and became an active competitor throughout his career. He holds an international certification from Kukkiwon — the official governing body of Taekwondo in Korea — ensuring that his instruction is both authentic and internationally recognized.
Today, Master Chon combines his deep martial arts knowledge, military experience, and educational background to inspire and guide his students toward excellence both on and off the mat. Master Chon United Tiger Martial Arts

We offer classes for all ages, from young children to adults. Our programs are tailored to different skill levels and goals.
No prior experience is required! We welcome beginners as well as experienced martial artists looking to refine their skills.
Comfortable athletic wear is fine for your first class. If you decide to continue, we'll guide you on getting a uniform and gear.
We recommend attending at least two classes per week for steady improvement, but you can train more frequently based on your goals.
We go beyond physical training to focus on building strong character. Our program is rooted in the values of loyalty, discipline, and perseverance helping students grow into confident, respectful individuals both on and off the mat. We teach not just technique, but the mindset and spirit of true martial artists.
