Hapkido self-defense training at United Tiger Martial Arts in Sanford, FL

A Key Self-Defense Component for Black Belts

Hapkido is introduced as a self-defense element in our Taekwondo training — but only to black belt students. Why? Because black belts have spent years mastering the foundational techniques, giving them a deeper understanding of the principles behind the moves.

Rather than bombarding students with countless step-by-step techniques, we focus on core concepts they'll internalize and never forget.
